🪄No manipulative sales tactics here

Hey Reader,

I don't believe in shoving my offers down your throat.

Copy like this is effective but makes me roll my eyes:

"So, what will it be? Are you going to wait for the perfect conditions to start? Or are you going to start today? Because if you wait just a few more hours, you'll miss your chance!"

(Real copy I got in my inbox this morning.)

Why's it bug me?

Because honestly, conditions do play a part in choices.

You might not have the money. You might not be in the right headspace. You might not want to sign up for yet another thing that you won't make the time for.

If you join at the wrong time, you'll prob get zero value from your investment, and that wastes both of our time.

So no, I'm not going to use cheap marketing persuasion tactics to make you feel like you must join Full Stack Solopreneur right now, or else your business is doomed, you'll never survive and and and scary black hole of panic!

Instead, I'm going to tell you the truth:

Not everyone should quit their 9-5 and start their own business.

Not everyone gives a shit about making $10k+ a month.

Not everyone is cut out to make it as a solo.

And that's OK.

Personally, quitting my job to bet on myself was the best decision I've ever made for my financial and personal life. I get to do what I want, when I want, and there's no cap on my income. The sky is literally the limit.

I need to make $10k+ a month since I have massive monthly expenses, twins to support, and am the primary earner in my family.

That's what drives me. But that's not what drives everyone.

We've got 18 founding members so far who are on different paths but heading towards the same destination: building a business that gives them both financial and personal freedom, whatever that means to them:

  • Kiran wants to build a side coaching business while keeping her medical career.
  • Bianca is 6 months into solo life and ready to stop trading time for money.
  • Chris aims to break $200k through coaching alone.
  • Evan is planning a big rebrand and needs his content engine firing.

And they're already cheering each other on:

Here's the thing about conditions, though.

It's very easy to put off the thing (buying the course, joining the community, investing in coaching) because of fear, rather than logic.

In this case, kicking the can down the road will never serve you. There will always be reasons to wait — more money to save, more time to find, more stars to align.

But if you're serious about building a sustainable solo business, you need systems and support now, not later.

So if I were you, I'd ask myself: "Am I ready now, or am I letting fear move the goal posts?"

If your answer is "actually, yeah, I'm ready" then we'd love for you to join our founding members.

If your answer is "honestly, I know I won't make the time right now" then it's better to wait until you will.

For those who do join, this is the smallest the group will ever be, and there's always something magical about joining something at the start of something big.

Ready?

Here's what Full Stack Solo includes:

  • Monthly group coaching calls with Nick and me
  • Private community access where we answer questions daily
  • The Full Stack Solo curriculum (it's an entire course that teaches you the 3 skills you need to be successful)
  • Full Stack Solo workbook
  • Content Engine Autopilot Spreadsheet
  • Guest expert sessions
  • Behind-the-scenes looks at our businesses in a private podcast
  • Direct feedback on your offers and content
  • Notion client portal that you can use in your business

Right now, you can join us for $899.

At midnight PST, the price goes up to $999.

You're not years away from your dream business. You're processes away. You're systems away. You're clarity away.

We can help with all of that.

Cheers,

Erica

Hey Reader, Look, today's newsletter isn't about whether we should or shouldn't be using AI in our writing. I have thoughts on that. [You can read them here.] I'm on the side where AI isn't going anywhere, and I absolutely love using it as a creative thought partner. I think it's great for creativity and your thought sparring process, but I also understand the arguments against it. That debate? We could have it all day. That's not what this is about. Today's newsletter assumes AI is here to...

Hey Reader, I've reached my "alright, F this, I gotta say something" moment. I've had enough of holier-than-thou writers claiming a monopoly on thinking. Yes, writing is a form of thinking. But you know what else is? Voice note rambling about something I’ve been thinking about in my head for long enough that I’m ready to write about it, but don’t feel like spending 3 hours grinding through the writing process.I felt like this BEFORE AI. I mean, you know editors existed before AI, right?!Trust...

Hey Reader, If you've been spiraling about "doing content right" on LinkedIn, you're playing the wrong game entirely. (It's a game, by the way.) Some people are optimizing for reach, impressions, and audience growth. Others are optimizing for inbound, starting conversations with the right people, and reputation growth. These people should not be creating the same types of content because they have wildly different goals. Different game. Different rules. Different outcomes. (Aside: Follower...
